Before Your Eyeliner Tattoo Appointment
First Things First:

You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding at the time of your appointment.

If you’re currently experiencing any eye-related conditions (like a stye or irritation), please contact us to reschedule.
Antibiotics Rule of Thumb:
You must wait the same number of days after completing your antibiotic cycle as the duration of the cycle itself.
Example: If you were on antibiotics for 10 days, wait 10 more days after the final dose before getting your tattoo. Please reschedule if needed!
One Month Before:

Discontinue retinol, acids, anti-aging, or acne treatments on the upper eyelid.

Stop using lash growth serums.
One Week Before:

Avoid saunas and tanning.

Stop taking fish oil and Vitamin E.

If you use blood thinners, refer to our FAQs and consult your physician.
Two Days Before:

Remove lash extensions at least two days prior.

Avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours before your appointment.
The Day Before & Day Of:

Do not wear contact lenses to your appointment.

Arrive makeup-free, especially around the eyes.

Make sure your eyes are free of infection, styes, or irritation.
What to Expect After Your Eyeliner Tattoo
Some swelling and tenderness are completely normal and typically last 24–72 hours. Here’s how to manage healing for optimal results:
Immediately After:

Expect mild swelling or redness, which should subside within 1–3 days.

To soothe the area, you may use a clean gel ice pack and take ibuprofen or Benadryl as needed.

Do not pick or peel scabs—this can pull out pigment.
Eyeliner Tattoo Aftercare Instructions
Cleansing:

On the first night, rinse the area gently with water and pat dry.

Twice daily, cleanse around your eyes with a mild, fragrance-free soap using just your fingertips. Pat dry with a clean tissue.

Apply the aftercare ointment provided 2–3 times a day for 14 days (skip ointment for lash line enhancement only). Avoid any petroleum-based products.
Avoid the Following:

Sweating or workouts for 3 days.

Eye makeup for at least 2 weeks.

Scratching, picking, or rubbing the area.
-
Petroleum-based products (like Vaseline or Neosporin).
-
Swimming, hot tubs, or saunas.

Direct sun or tanning beds.

Laser or light therapy treatments near the area.
