Scar Camouflage FAQs

Paramedical Tattoos
  • Scar Camouflage: Scar camouflage involves using specialized cosmetic tattooing techniques to blend the scar with the surrounding skin tone, making it less noticeable.
  • If you have scars and skin areas that no longer have pigment or no longer match your natural skin tone, then this procedure may be perfect for you.
  • Flesh-tone pigments matched perfectly to your skin tone, ensure your scar blends with the surrounding area.
  • After multiple treatments, your scars will be less noticeable and some people may never know they existed.
Cost Effective & Healthy
  • Inkless scar serum treatments are a cost effective and non-invasive replacement for costly laser treatments.
  • Inkless scar serum treatments are one of the best ways to minimize the appearance of scars and stretch marks.
  • The process utilizes a vitamin serum (without pigment or colors) and allows us to use a tattoo machine to micro-needle the serum into scars or stretch marks, reducing their appearance.
  • Radiation markers are placed on the body near the area being treated by radiation. Sometimes these markers are small tattoos.
  • We combine  micropigmentation with tattoo ink to disguise your radiation markers with flesh-pigment ink.
  • The end result is a dot or mark that looks like a small moles or freckle. This camouflage tattoo can be done on any part of your body.
Consultations are important.
We can consult via email or text with photos provided by you.
  • All scar treatment appointments must have a prior consult, via email, with photos.
  • Not all scars can be treated with tattoo camouflage but most can be done with one or both of our treatments. It is worth taking the time for a free consultation to determine if we can help minimize your scars!
  • Most treatments involve multiple sessions. A consult allows us to accurately quote you a price for your treatment series.

Your scar needs heal for at least one year. Not all scars can be camouflaged. Please use our form to send us an email with uploaded photos and we will reach out to you with a treatment plan.

The process involves minimal pain.
Scar tissue does not usually have the same amount of feeling as healthy tissue.
  • The camouflage tattooing and inkless serum treatments are typically pain free, however, we are happy to use topical numbing to relieve pain if needed!
Some of them, yes.
We understand the importance of minimizing self-harm scars.
  • If the scars are lighter in color than the surrounding skin, then we can use scar camouflage tattoo to minimize the appearance of the scars.
Yes!
This is actually the easiest place for scar camouflage.
  • We also offer velvet lip tattooing. If you have a scar that extends through your lips onto your skin, we can do the lip blush tattoo in conjunction with scar camouflage on the outside of the lip.
  • Inkless Scar Serum Treatment uses a rotary tattoo machine to cause controlled trauma to the scar tissue at the same time it is distributing a specialized serum into the skin.
  • This treatment triggers the body to jumpstart the healing process. This method does not use ink.
  • Scar Camouflage Tattoo uses skin tone ink which camouflages the scar to match the surrounding skin tone.
