Common Questions for Permanent Makeup Appointments

DAELA Scottsdale always consults for free! Most people have multiple questions about having their lips, brows, or eyeliner tattooed and many people have specific questions about their skin type and how it will react to permanent makeup procedures.

Common concerns are whether a person’s skin conditions like: Oiliness of skin, thinness of skin or other skin conditions will preclude them from permanent cosmetics. We can answer all these questions and almost always have a perfect solution.

We make it easy for people to ask us questions. You can contact us via phone, email or form submission. If you call after hours or submit a form after hours, we will get back to you within 24 hours. Questions asked during business hours will get answered the same day!

Not at all. Kierland Commons in Scottsdale AZ has a lot of onsite parking to facilitate customers! If you are coming to your DAELA cosmetic Tattoo appointment during peak hours (lunch time and dinner time) then we suggest you allow some extra time to find a spot.

You could plan to enjoy a meal before or after your appointment, at one of the excellent restaurants here in Kierland Commons or across the street at Scottsdale Quarter. 

We are open Tuesday-Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm. Advance appointments are required because certain before care is important prior to permanent makeup procedures. We are available to take evening appointments as well, so please call to book an appointment and let us know if another time is more convenient for you than our regular posted hours.

It is not typical to find a walk-in appointment for permanent makeup! The appointment times are set in 2-3 hour sessions, making it complicated to do anything other than pre-book your appointment.

We do however have a full customer service staff that is always available to answer questions, so please walk-in during posted business hours and ask all questions you may have of us!

Our typical DAELA Scottsdale appointment times are between 2-3 hours for your initial appointment. Touchups require a bit less time and are typically scheduled for 1.5 hours. 

Esthetic services like brow lamination and lash lift & tint take less than an hour.

Not at all! Our Scottsdale location has a very detailed before care and after care guideline for every service we offer including brow tattoos, eyeliner tattoos, lip tattoos, areola restoration and scar camouflage.

"I just had my velvet lip blush done with Katy today. She was so nice and explained the whole process before, during and after the tattoo. There was no pain, and it was faster than I expected. My lips are a bit swollen still, but I can tell that the color and shape will look perfect! The salon is very clean and pretty and tranquil. You have the tattoo done in a private room. I had my eyeliner done by Angela and Kellee did my eyebrows over the past 6 months. I could never keep make-up on my face, but I was too nervous to get permanent make-up.
